What its acai?

Acai is a plump, dark purple berry harvested from acai palm trees in the rainforests of South America. At BARE, we blend pure, unsweetened acai berry pulp with other fruits, add-ins like our handcrafted almond butter, kale, chia, seeds or cacao powder, and our homemade nut milks to create a thick smoothie-like base. We top the base with local granola, fresh fruit, a drizzle of honey, and depending on the bowl – roasted almonds, hemp seeds, bee pollen, shaved coconut or cacao nibs.
When I place a catering order, do the bowls come pre-assembled with the toppings? We will provide the bowl base in individual serving bowls and provide the toppings on the side. That way, people can customize their own bowls.
I place a catering order, do you set up and serve people? It’s up to you. Our Catering Fee includes basic drop-off and on site staffing for one hour if desired. For an additional fee of $75/hour per person, we can stay on site and help with the serving beyond the first hour.
How far in advance do I need to place a catering order? Please kindly give us at least one week advance notice. If you are short on time, no worries — fill out a catering order form anyway and we will make every effort to accommodate you.
What do you need for set up? We will bring all the food, utensils and a page with what we are serving. All we need from you is a table or space to set up on!
How do the bowls stay cold? We have been catering for years - we know how to prep and keep the bowls cold for when you want them served! If your event is spread over a few hours, let us know if you have a fridge or freezer on site we can access to keep the bowls cold over an extended amount of time.
Do you offer other food than smoothie bowls? We do! If you are interested in chia pudding, energy balls, overnight oats, paleo waffles, or paleo toast, let us know in the additional questions portion of the order form.
Allergies! ALL of our bowls are vegan and gluten free! Please let us know if you have any allergies in the office on the catering form. For people with nut allergies, there is a spot on the catering order form to let us know!
